Help ...

The other day I was reading a post on Faye's blog and lo and behold, see a picture of the perfect blouse to go with a number of things in my wardrobe. I was thrilled. I was even more thrilled to read the comment by Trena suggesting a pattern from BWOF 02-2008 that was similar. This was great news, indeed! I headed down to my sewing room to pull the magazine from its file, but was alarmed to find that it was not there. Not only was it not there, but a visit to the Burda website to look at the cover made me realise that I have never even seem this magazine before! With a knot growing in my belly, I searched through the pictures on the website and realised I wanted to make almost everything in that wretched magazine. How I missed this edition is a mystery, although I suspect it had something to do with the fact that I was in Malaysia when it was released here in Australia and even though I had asked the newsagent to hold them for me, they somehow missed this one, too.

My question is this: does anyone know how to get hold of old BWOF issues?

I recently obtained all the 2008 issues of BWOF from Europress Distributions in Alexandria Sydney.

You can also check Ebay. I am in NZ and got a number of issues from 2008 for about $10US each ... Feb is a popular month however.

Thanks Gail and Carol! I've been wondering the same thing... Will give Europress a call :-)
Oh no! At first I was excited because my suggestion was useful, but now I feel bad for tantalizing you. I hope you can find it!

Well, my morphing has not proved successful as of yet. I'm not finished with my wearable muslin yet, but I'm not quite pleased with it yet. Hope you find that issue, wish I had it too.

The blouse only has three pieces. I will trace for you. I don't have any idea how much it would cost to ship, but if you like I'll check. I know how badly I wanted it. Angela shared with me, and it's all about sharing!

I believe that Karen from Sewing by the Seat of my pants (sewingbytheseatofmypants.blogspot.com) may be able to help. I think she once posted that her husband can get them? I may be way off here but check it out.
