Want to see my map of Tasmania ...

I suspect only Australian readers may get that joke. For the rest of you, this song may clear things up a little.
This picture will explain the rest.
This otherwise happy time in my life has been soured by the tragic deaths of four friends and colleagues this weekend past, three to a dreadful aircrash and one to cancer. I'm sure Australian readers have heard all the news stories. I had expected to see these people this weekend at a party to celebrate the 50th anniversary of a show we had all worked on over the years. Here's a link to a story if you're interested.
There will be sewing soon from my new sun-filled sewing room, along with some tales from the journey.

I didn't click the link, rather fearing what I might see, but no I don't really want to see your map of Tasmania....?

I'm so sorry for your loss. It seems the ABC has had a recent bad run of luck, losing such important and influential figures. My sympathies.

We are all reeling from the loss the ABC and their families have suffered and sending you many hugs as well.

Now that is a change of scenery, can't wait to hear the tales.

honestly, I really wanted to leave some warm, comforting words for you...but I clicked on the video for "Map of Tasmania" and, well...the answer is a resounding yes. (especially if gold lamé, peacock feathers and jadite are part of the deal.)

actually, I'm very sorry to hear about the loss of your friends.

i miss you and wish I were a better friend.

xoxoxo,
