What was I thinking ... again?

This is a work-in-progress shot of my coat. It's even more wrinkled than before. All I need to do is hem the lining and attach it with little bar things, sew the button on and press the life out of it. At the moment it just looks like a sack. I'm not feeling the love, but maybe after I've finished wrestling with it I might grow to like it a little. I have learned something interesting with this project; do not mix faux leather with other fabrics. Ever.

The coat is coming along fine. I think when we spend a lot of time working on one project we start to fall out of love with it. I'm sure once it's completed you will love it.

I also hope once it is finished you will love it. Interesting comment about the faux leather and other fabrics.

Well, I sure hope you give us a better picture of it! I hope you come to love it, but I know how it goes when things don't work like we planned.

Hi Carol, Interested in your comment about not mixing faux leather with other fabrics. I bought a smaller piece in Seoul that I planned to mix with a stretch boucle in the same colour for a jacket.
